Lady Hague Poppy Factory Edinburgh
November 8, 2016
While every year millions of us buy poppies and wear them with pride to remember those who gave their lives in the line of duty, we don’t really give much thought to what’s behind the making of this emblem.
Here we take a look behind the scenes at the Lady Haig Poppy factory in Edinburgh, and at the work that goes into the 5m poppies they produce each year for Remembrance Sunday.
Staffed exclusively by ex-service personnel, the factory helps Poppy Scotland to raise £2m every year to give vital support to the Armed Forces community.
